Dan is a physician assistant who joined our practice in 2019. He has over 18 years of experience in interventional pain management. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1998 with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies specializing in Family Medicine.
Dan is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. He grew up in the Jacksonville area.
Olga a Certified physician assistant specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of chronic pain. She works with patients to create and follow safe, successful care plans to help improve functioning and quality of life. Olga takes pride in staying up to date with the most current recommendations and advancement in the field of pain management. She also strives to be truthful with her patients on their expectations when it comes to pain relief.
Prior to moving to Jacksonville, Olga practiced pain management at Pain Institute of New York and Pain Physicians NY in New York City. Olga has also practiced inpatient oncology at Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care.
Olga received her Physician Assistant Training at Bachelor of Science Physician Assistant degree at Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College of New York. She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and is Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
When Olga is not tackling the challenges of pain management, she is spending time with her husband and children.
Mrs. Brogdon graduated from University of North Florida with a degree in Psychology. After graduation, she joined the Fire Academy where she received certifications in Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician. She had the pleasure of serving the city of Jacksonville as a firefighter/EMT for six years. Mrs. Brogdon completed her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Medical Science and Physician Assistant studies in 2015. She has experience working in interventional radiology, and has recently joined Emas Spine and Brain Specialists pain management team. Mrs. Brogdon is very passionate about medicine and always brings the highest level of compassion when caring for her patients. She is continuously working towards increasing her knowledge in order to provide the best possible medical care.

A Physician Assistant, Bill joined our practice in 2013. He obtained a Bachelors degree from Western Michigan University in 1987. In 1995 he felt a calling to change careers to begin helping people. He returned to school full-time and started working as a CAN and EMT in Orange Park Medical Center. In 1998 his Physician Assistant training began at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He’s been treating patients as a Physicians Assistant since 2000.
Bill is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. He grew up in Michigan but considers himself a Floridian. He has been married for 20 years and has four children.
A Certified Physician Assistant, Charles joined our practice in 2007, strengthening our staff with his extensive experience treating hospitalized and clinical neurology patients. He obtained an Associate of Science degree at Florida State College (FCCJ) and received his Bachelor of Science Physician Assistant degree in 1998 from Trevecca University in Nashville, Ten. After graduation, he worked for three years with hospitalized cardiology patients, spent six years working with hospitalized internal medicine/critical care patents as well as nursing home patients.
Charles is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He grew up in Northwest Missouri in a large family that included five siblings, and relocated to the Jacksonville area in 1988.
Dr. Tran specializes in the non-surgical and minimally invasive field of, Interventional Pain Management. His training is from the prestigious Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA, where he did his fellowship and was a Clinical Instructor. He went on to become an instructor for one of the top spine group, Spine Intervention Society (SIS).
He believes in treating the whole patient with the final goal of reducing a person’s pain while increasing their level of functioning for work, leisure and activities of daily living.
Dr. Tran graduated medical school through a 6 year accelerated undergraduate and graduate program at Thomas Jefferson Medical College, in Philadelphia, PA, and obtained his M.D. degree at the age of 24. He then completed his residency at UCLA Medical School, followed by a fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. He is Board Certified, a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
He is an active member of North American Spine Society (NASS), Spine Intervention Society (SIS), American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) and American Board of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation.
In his spare time, he enjoys an active lifestyle, playing tennis, biking, skiing, running, weight training and traveling.
Dr. Emas served as Chief of Neurology at Memorial Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla from 2005 to 2012. He also helped establish the Center’s accredited stroke program and served as medical director for several years. In addition, he is an active staff physician at many major hospitals throughout Jacksonville.
Dr. Emas is happily married and has two daughters. He enjoys participating in various sports and is an avid skier. Starting Fall 2012, he will be managing sports concussions for Bolles and Episcopal High School students. In his free time, you can find him at the Jacksonville Jaguars football game with friends and family. He supports several other community events and athletic organizations.
